Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born on September 15th, 1915 at Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, brought up in the Mormon Church's First Family, utilized her writing talent as well as research abilities to create the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man knows My History, she used both. The name was taken from the sermon title that Joseph Smith delivered in 1844. In the sermon, he shocked his hearers by stating: "You don't know me, and have not heard my thoughts. My story is not known to anyone. I am not able to tell you. me to share it with you. Fawn, 29 years old, wrote Fawn is taking over the role of writer from that point on. These documents are not lacking, they just contradict each other. It is a daunting task to put together these documents--of sifting first-hand account from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon and non-Mormon accounts into a mosaic that makes plausible historical claims. This is both exciting and instructive. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie committed herself professionally. Thaddeus S. Stevens was immortalized by her works and the fruit of her studies. The Devil drives (1959). The life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historical account (1974) The posthumous.
