Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. His father was an Argentine of Scottish as well as English descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children, four come from her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, when the family moved to Victoria at the time of London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatic and she did not learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and took part in drama productions. When she was 16 she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always wished to become an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to model.
