Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and television host best known as the presenter for The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and raised at Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl was raised in the midst of a challenging family. She spent most of her young life caring for her older sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. As a child, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl says that at one instance her mother stabbed her father for being too close with her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from college. Her interest was in comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career as regularly performing at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. She's been in many fictional show such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
