Harry

Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions to the One Direction band. The son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own band, composed of 3 schoolmates, which was named White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. He was always interested in music but wanted to become a lawyer or physical therapy. Part-time work in a city bakery is his very first occupation to earn money for the family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. It was for this reason the band split up. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the band to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group was a fact in 2010 and the five youngsters were funded by Simon Cowell. They sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This allowed them to become the top contenders for winning the competition. However, they finished third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive an award, but Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract with One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
